Meet Dr. Jon Oefinger

As the son of an orthodontist, Dr. Oefinger grew up in San Antonio and attended Clark High School.

Education & Experience

After graduating from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Oefinger graduated Cum Laude from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School, previously ranked as the number one dental school in the nation.

After graduating from dental school, Dr. Oefinger completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. This program provided additional training in comprehensive dentistry and allowed him to treat more complex cases.

Dr. Oefinger has been practicing in San Antonio for over 20 years and is eager to serve you. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Oefinger has stayed up-to-date on current technology and advancements in the field through continuing education classes and study groups.

Outside of the Office

Dr. Oefinger is the proud father of 3 wonderful children, and he enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities and has numerous hobbies.
