Clear Aligners in
San Antonio

At Oefinger Dental & Associates, our Invisalign aligners are a top-tier treatment known for their exceptional clarity, durability, and flexibility. Designed with a scalloped shape, these aligners deliver both comfort and performance.

Invisible Treatment, Visible Benefits

Clear aligners take orthodontic care to a whole new level. They’re versatile enough to address a variety of cases while offering a clear, comfortable alternative to traditional braces.

Here’s what makes clear aligners stand out from the rest:

Subtle Treatment

Unlike bulky metal braces, clear aligners are barely noticeable. They fit snugly over your teeth like a mouthguard, offering a subtle, removable treatment option that blends seamlessly into your daily life.

Convenient & Comfortable Freedom

Your life is busy, and clear aligners are designed to keep up. They’re removable, so you can eat what you love and maintain your regular brushing and flossing routine without hassle. Remember to wear them for at least 22 hours daily to achieve the best results.

Customized for You

Your smile is unique, and at Oefinger Dental & Associates, your treatment should be, too. Clear aligners are tailored to the shape of your teeth and gums, ensuring a precise fit.

With a fully personalized plan, you’re not just straightening your teeth — you're creating a smile that’s as individual as you are.

Always Comfortable

Clear aligners are designed for maximum comfort. Crafted from smooth, BPA-free plastic, their custom fit molds perfectly to your teeth, making them so comfortable you might forget you’re even wearing them.

Your Smile Journey Begins With iTero

Before beginning your treatment, Dr. Oefinger and our team need to see every angle of your mouth. The more details we have, the better we can customize your treatment plan.

At Oefinger Dental & Associates, you and your child don’t need to dread impressions with messy putty, because we use a digital scanner—the iTero Element Intraoral Scanner.

With our iTero Element Scanner, we can digitally capture a detailed 3D model of your teeth and gums. Not only is an iTero Element digital scan far more comfortable than the old putty-based impressions, but it’s faster and provides more precise images.

Goodbye to Goop-Filled Impression Trays

iTero is ideal because it eliminates messy materials and creates a more relaxing and pleasant environment for your treatment.

This is especially true for younger patients and patients with sensitive gag reflexes who can’t handle the goopy materials long enough to capture accurate measurements.

With iTero, you’ll enjoy:

  • No goop or gag to worry about
  • Fast, accurate scan for superior diagnostics
  • A versatile system that’s ideal for Invisalign® clear aligners and retainers
  • A simulation of what your new smile might look like with the Invisalign Outcome Simulator (IOSim)

Caring for Your Aligners

Because aligners are removable, cleaning and maintaining your orthodontic treatment has never been easier.

However, you still have a few rules to remember:

Aligner Care 101

Cleaning your aligners daily can be the difference between a great treatment and a not-so-great treatment.

Using a soft-bristled toothbrush and warm water, gently scrub your aligners of any debris or build-up. Don’t use hot water, as it can warp your appliance.

Keep It Stored

When you’re not wearing your clear aligners, make sure to properly store them in their case — during dinner, while brushing, or any other time you’re not wearing them to reduce the risk of losing or damaging them.

Appointments Matter

Keep your regularly scheduled appointments to help us monitor your treatment and make any necessary adjustments. Our team will review your smile’s status to ensure everything is on track.

Handle With Care

Your aligners are durable enough to handle the task of easing your teeth into a straighter, healthier smile — but that doesn’t mean you should handle them roughly.

Always use two hands when removing or putting in your aligners, starting at the back of your teeth and gently moving forward. Never use your teeth to press your aligners into place as this can damage them.
